Ubisoft's announced Pure Football, its own FIFA and PES contender from Ubisoft Vancouver.
The game features an over-the-shoulder camera and audio which "dynamically reacts to the context of the match", says Ubisoft.
Pure will include 230 footballers, 17 international teams, and 17 "legendary players," it adds.
"Pure Football is a new and unique vision of football video games, emphasizing the intense, physical and spectacular aspects of the sport."
Players will be able to create their own customized athlete who can progress through the campaign mode to test themselves against the world's best.
Up to four people can play multiplayer locally and 1vs1 matches are supported online, along with the inclusion of leaderboards.
